About Priestley Photography

Priestley Photography started as a concept I shared with my husband Scott nearly 10 years ago. At the time I was working constantly in two jobs and didn't get a lot of free time to myself.  Scott encouraged me to talk through what I wanted from life and what made me happy.  After looking through the hundreds of photographs I have taken over the years and the enthusiasm I had for them, he went out and bought me my first Canon DSLR, and Priestley Photography grew from there.

What started as a casual hobby has grown into something I love to dedicate every spare minute I have into developing.  Losing myself in a photograph, getting the framing and colour balance right in editing, and then sharing the finished result, is so satisfying. I now share Hanover Studios in Scarborough with two fabulous artists and friends:
